Artist Statement

Art has always held a special place in my life. I held a very technical career, and I would spend my time off creatively as a healthy way to express myself. I believe in accessible and analog art forms for their purity and scarcity. In my woodblock printmaking, I value the time and patience it takes to create a single piece. It’s
completely meditative. I often choose to depict things that give me emotional difficulty, be it the current state of world affairs, my personal trauma, or simply ironic concepts.
