Artist Statement

I’m a contemporary artist who lives somewhere between surrealism and the wild, wonderful world of animals. My style pulls from the playful spirit of old-school animation and the dream logic of surrealist art. Acrylics are my
go’to because their bright, punchy colors match the way I see the world.
Before painting, I spent years as a glass artist working in borosilicate and millefiori, making tiny scene marbles full of stories. I’ve stepped away from the torch now, but the creative spark didn’t go anywhere – it just moved to the canvas. Painting lets me bring characters, color, and imagination to life in a new way.
My motto is simple: “Live life in full color.” Color, humor, curiosity – that’s the world I choose to live in and the world I try to create.
