Artist Statement

As an artist, I have an obligation to myself and all my viewers. My intention to be authentic and innovative remains uppermost, as I execute each piece in a vibrant and unique way. It’s important to me that my art be memorable and hopefully life-enriching in a beautiful and positive way. Much like the ahh in a favorite poem on
the first reading.

I invite the viewer into the canvas to share my unique journey.

Arrowheads Everywhere poet, Theresa Wyatt, wrote on viewing my art – there is an energy there that is difficult to put into words – artwork being rather static often – it is very “freeing” to look at them as an experience, the feeling stays with the viewer – so much physical and spiritual life being captured.
