Artist Statement

My artistic practice is deeply rooted in a fascination with the limitless possibilities of creative expression – art is everywhere and can be found in, or on, anything. As a child I was fascinated by rust; whether it was an old pipe or car, it didn’t matter. I would run my fingers over the textures ranging from smooth, bumpy, rough or flaking. I was completely captivated by the interplay between the colors and the textures.
