Artist Statement
My work explores the interaction between defined geometric shapes and lines. I try to create a tension between architectural elements and intersecting planes that overlap and cut into one another across various surfaces.
I am interested in construction that is deliberate yet intuitive. The interplay between elements, from varying line thicknesses to solid and transparent shapes, establishes a rhythm and a sense of movement. I hope to create a surface where a visual dance takes place, and the ordinary becomes an unexpected transformation.
