Artist Statement

My work explores light not only as a visual phenomenon, but as an emotional and perceptual force. Through color, layered surfaces, and shifting spatial relationships, I aim to create images that radiate energy, movement, and quiet optimism. Light in these works emerges through contrast-between density and openness, clarity and
ambiguity, structure and spontaneity.

The process is intuitive and accumulative. Marks, colors, and textures are built, disrupted, and re-resolved,allowing luminosity to surface gradually rather than be imposed. Some works glow through saturated color and vibration; others through subtle balance and restraint. Together they reflect the idea that radiance can be bold or understated, exuberant or contemplative.
