Artist Statement

Mary Freericks, a prize wining artist,  has been painting for over thirty years.  She is a colorist.  She works in a number of mediums including watercolor, acrylics, collage and oil monotypes. Her paintings have been displayed at the Glenn Dallas Gallery, the Next Picture Show Gallery, the Leopold Schepp Foundation 85^th anniversary in Manhattan, Music Academy of the West and the Baccara Resort Hotel.

Her art has been published on the cover of Santa Barbara Literary Journal and in other magazines as well as on the cover of her poetry collections including “From Wife to Widow,” “Language “and “Pandemic Poetry”.
