Artist Statement

I have been an abstract artist for most of my artistic career. For me, abstract painting is the most authentic and expansive form of expression. It allows me to explore thoughts, feelings, intuition and playfulness without constraint. Color is central to my work-it carries emotion, establishes rhythm and shapes atmosphere. Texture, line and form further build layers of movement and energy. Through abstraction, I seek not to describe the visible world, but to evoke what is felt beneath its surface.
