Artist Statement

Art has always been more than an enjoyable pastime for me. Painting and the visual arts have served as a tool for growth and learning, a form of personal expression, and a vehicle for intimate connection with others. I realized that painting created an avenue for true internal dialogue.
Each piece challenges me in new ways, continually pushing me to overcome new goals and obstacles. I paint because creativity keeps me moving forward.
Ultimately, I want my art to be more than something that hangs on a wall. I want it to act as a bridge between the artist and the viewer. Each piece is crafted to enrich, uplift, and spark a sense of connection. My process is rooted in experimentation, blending acrylics with mixed media, merging fine art techniques with the expressive
energy of graffiti, and exploring geometry and optical illusions.
