Artist Statement

I don’t paint what I see; I paint what remains. My art is an interpretation of the ‘necessary’-that feeling or memory that lingers long after an experience ends. Whether working on a canvas or a monotype, I move intuitively,
chasing elements as they emerge and allowing the creative process to surprise me. There is a certain magic in how a creative impulse transforms into something physical. Ultimately, my practice is an exploration of the fragility and vulnerability of being human, seeking to prove that art possesses a unique power to move,
challenge, and inspire.
