Metal casting and stone carving is an integral part of who I am. Bronze resonates with me especially, for its enduring warmth and refined elegance. My creative process is shaped by both thoughtful conversations with other women and personal introspection.
I create out of a necessity to be heard, to speak my piece without unease. My sculptures represent a union of fear, strength, and conviction, serving as a medium to translate the messy reality of the human experience into something permanent. I am interested in the tension between beauty and its perceived opposite, specifically as it
relates to body image expectations and the female experience in a patriarchal world. For me, every piece is an act of courage – a way to ensure that neither my voice nor my history disappears.
